Timeframe
The TriUniversity Group of Libraries (Waterloo, Guelph, and Wilfrid Laurier) will be upgrading the Primo/Voyager library system software starting at 6 pm on Tuesday, December 15 with expected completion by Tuesday, December 22.
Backup Available
During the upgrade, Primo will be available for searches, but will not contain current item status and Your Account information.
Affected Services
Users will not be able to place online holds or recalls, use self-charge, do online renewals or registration, or see current item status information. Requests for items will be accepted at the Circulation Desk or by
. Staff will manually record the details and apply the requests once TRELLIS is restored. It will not be possible to request copies of journal articles from Primo (i.e., TUGdoc requests).
Not Affected
Access to the regular and reserve collections will be normal. Other services and resources for research (e.g., Interlibrary Loan/RACER, Ask a Librarian, Research Databases, Electronic Journals, and Course Reserves) accessed from the Library's web site will remain available during the upgrade period.
Note: Primo will be available during this time but any links that depend on TRELLIS (holdings information, library account, more bibliographic information in TRELLIS) will not be operational.
