Patrologia Latina Database is a full-text database providing an electronic version of the first edition of Jacques-Paul Migne's coverage of the history of Latin Christianity originally published in 217 volumes in the late nineteenth century.
The
Patrologia Latina Database provides comprehensive search and browse features.
Users can search or browse by (English) Keyword, Greek Keyword, Title, Author,
and/or Volume. Other features available from the search interface include
the ability to limit the search results to a specific author type, plus manipulate
how the search results are displayed. Search History is automatically saved
within each session, while search results can be saved to a Marked List.
A Table of Contents feature is also provided to see what is contained within
each volume of Migne's Patrologia Latina.
Access to Patrologia Latina Database is available from the Library's Research Databases page by clicking on the the letter "P" in the Browse by Title section.
Patrologia Latina Database can also be accessed via the Library's catalogue, TRELLIS, by completing a Title search.
