During the renovations, the main floor will be entirely closed to the public and staff. This is a necessary closure to ensure that the project is completed as quickly as possible.

Adaptive technology computers will be available to use on the fifth floor. For detailed information, see the FAQ—Library Services to Persons with Disabilities handout. For more information on the availability of adaptive technologies during the renovations, please contact Janet Wason, ext. 33012.
Browsers closed on April 24th. It will reopen in the fall once the renovations are completed.
The Circulation desk will be located on the first floor. Hours of service will remain the same as the building hours.
There are numerous workstations available on the 1st, 3rd and 5th floors, as well as several workstations located on each floor levels 6 to 10.
The Campus Copy Centre will be moved temporarily to Hagey Hall, HH 370, beginning April 14 with hours from 8 am to 4:25 pm, Monday to Friday. The Dana Porter location will close on April 9 to prepare for this move.

Staff will be dispersed throughout the library, with temporary office spaces located on the floors 1 and 3, as well as in the group study rooms on floors 5 to 10.

Items stored at the Annex can be requested with a one-day turn-around, but will not be able to be signed out of the library. You may also consult the UW Library's Online Reference Shelf.
