The goal of the Accessibility Standards for the Built Environment is to remove barriers in public spaces and buildings.

The Government is currently working on the final draft of the Accessible Built Environment Standard.

Below are some resources to assist in enhancing the environment for people with disabilities.

Note: The accessibility requirements in the Ontario Building Code are still in effect.
