Review of Projects Prior to Launch
Richard will make revisions and keep the list updated on the Architecture web site.

Opening Day Scenario
Visual Resources Centre: (page 9)
The committee discussed transferring microform and decided that all microfiche and film would remain at Porter.  The possibility of having a video collection was then discussed.  The only equipment needed would be video storage with growth possibility to DVDs.

Materials Resources Centre
This area has a large growth potential.
Equipment

Theses
Michele will investigate with Lynn Judge of the Grad Office to clarify the University's guidelines for handling graduate Theses.

Group Study Rooms
Tables and chairs for 16 (8 in each of two rooms)

Photocopy area
The University's copy license does not include copying to electronic format, therefore, making scanners available in the library needs to be revisited.

Brief to the Architect
Richard distributed a draft brief to the architect.  The committee reviewed this document.  Michele suggested that the Basic Design Considerations section from the Opening Day Scenario should be included in the architect's brief.  Richard will send the committee an electronic copy - Michele will draft an introduction and make revisions to Richard's draft, Richard will meet with Eric to discuss moving details and make revisions, and Cheryl will put a copy in the "private" area of the web.   Susan Bellingham distributed a brief for the rare book room, which the committee reviewed and discussed.

Building Plans
Betty and Ruth decided that the building plans were problematic and would not be catalogued.
