Meeting: #10 (January 30, 1996)

Time: 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Purpose: Terms of Reference

Present: Jane Britton, Amos Lakos, Sharon Lamont, Ann Naese, Laurie Strome

Absent: Wendy Macpherson, Shabiran Rahman, Mary Stanley

  1. Agenda accepted.

  2. Summary of Meeting #9, Jan. 23, 1996 noted. Jane will change references to "mini-survey" to "Information Needs Survey"

  3. Business Arising:
    Jane has announced that she cannot continue as full-time recorder. The group discussed options and once again decided to continue without an outside, non-participating recorder. We will rotate meeting note-taking one meeting at a time.

  4. Terms of Reference:
    Sharon distributed Draft Terms of Reference dated Jan. 30, 1996 in advance of the meeting. A lively discussion ensued, dealing not so much with the General Principles as expressed but with the presentation and layout of the rest of the Draft. Amos would like to re-write the second part and present another draft.
