Meeting Notes #34 (January 14, 1997)

Present: Amos Lakos (recorder), Connie Pantic, Sharon Lamont, Shabiran Rahman (facilitator), Wendy Macpherson, Laurie Strome, Ann Naese
Absent: Mary Stanley

  1. Minutes of December 17 - approved.

    • Sharon and Laurie will add the number of seats for tables and study rooms.

    • another column will be added to the database to facilitate better analysis.

    • the database will be restructured by Sharon, Laurie & Amos.

    • a preliminary report will be discussed at the next meeting.

  3. Minutes on the Web

    • Shabiran will send a document to each of CNAG members explaining how to go about publishing the CNAG Meeting minutes to the UW Staff Web.

  4. TUG Policy Integration ie., Focus Groups

    • Focus Group resource person Roy King will not be available for us.

    • Donna Ellis from TRACE who does focus groups will be approached by Shabiran as a possible future trainer and resource person.

    • planned focus group activities may not be useful at this time

    • Susan Rooutliffe will come to the next meeting to update the Group about the status of the policy integration activities.

  5. Organizational Realignment Survey Report/Data Analysis

    • Shabiran finished the analysis and the report - which was given to Lorraine Beattie.

    • PPG will examine the report and get back to the group through Shabiran before publishing the final report.

  6. CNAG Terms of Reference

    • the CNAG Terms of Reference were reviewed. Possible further actions - as part of staff education, the Group will plan a number of workshops for staff on doing surveys.
