Meeting Notes
Date: 1999 April 27
Time: 9:30-11:00 a.m.
Place: Dana Porter Room 407
Purpose: Evaluation Needs, etc.
Present: Amos Lakos, Annette Dandyk, Michele Sawchuk
Absent: Anne Fullerton, Connie Pantic
- Minutes from the March 30th Meeting – approved.
- An e-mail was sent by Annette to the TUG WEB Coordinators about
our interest and
support for working with them on TUG web feedback and usability studies.
We received
no replies yet. Another e-mail will be sent directly to Jim Parrott.
- Customer feedback comments analysis – we have to continue
with developing categories
for analysis. Anne Fullerton will follow up when she gets back from
her holidays.
- Starting the ball rolling on focus groups or other type of inteactions
with students. We
should get librarians involved in this. Need staff buy-in. Use the
summer for planning –
getting buy-in, selecting topics, testing.
Example – User Ed issues
for non-professional staff.
- Coffee in the Library. We will initiate a meeting
with the "Coffee Group" to update them
with the information CNAPG has from the Study Space Focus Groups on this
issue.
