1. Approval of minutes from the March 25 th meeting
The minutes from the meeting were approved.
2. Business Arising
NVivo: Nothing further to report at this time. Shabiran will be working with a faculty member to explore NVivo.
3. Update on Second Round of Survey.
Guest Speaker: Janet Wason
The second round of the survey will begin on April 19 th and finish on May 7 th, 2004 . Janet has changed the existing survey to reflect these new dates, as well as the cover letter. Rose will be sending out this survey via email to students in their database.
Since the Imprint doesn’t publish any issues during the exam period, it has been decided that the survey will instead be written up in the Gazette and the Daily Bulletin. Dan will add changes to the existing advertisement to include a statement such as “if you’ve already filled out this survey previously…” and to change the format as it is no longer an advertisement and can therefore be more detailed.
CNAC will determine after the second round of the survey is complete whether or not it will add that data onto our first round data or keep it separate.
Shabiran has provided the survey frequencies from the first round for all CNAC member to view. Members are to look over this data before the next meeting.
4. Article
Presently there is one set of minutes missing from the CNAC webpage. Jamie will recreate these minutes and pass them on to Dan for use in his article.
Dan will continue working on the article. Janet will work with Dan to help direct him to existing accessibility plans etc. for the article.
Jane and Michelle will help edit the article when Dan has a draft complete.
