The minutes from the meeting were approved with minor changes.
2. Business Arising

3. Update on Survey Draw.
Guest Speaker: Janet Wason
The draw was held on Monday, May 17 th.
The first round respondents of the survey were incorporated into the second round respondents for the draw. There were a total of 95 respondents that entered the draw. There were four winners in total.
CNAC is comfortable with the outcome of the second survey and will add the 30 completed surveys to the first round data. This means that a total of 115 surveys will be used for our data analysis. The survey went out to 492 students. 174 surveys were resent as a reminder and 318 surveys were sent as new emails.
Shabiran will email Rose from OPD and thank her for her cooperation during the past few months. We also would like to keep her updated on the status of the survey by giving her a sense of the numbers collected, the outcome of the draws etc.
4. Data Analysis
All CNAC members received a copy of the frequencies from the survey to analyze. All members, other than Shabiran, will divide up the survey and provide a brief, narrative analysis of each question.
The survey is divided as follows:
Michele: all questions relating to Goal #1 of our survey.
To obtain information about physical accessibility at the various library locations.
Jamie/Janet: all questions relating to Goal #2 of our survey.
To obtain information about satisfaction with current library services.
Jane: all questions relating to Goal #3 of our survey.
To obtain information about the accessibility of library resources. Both users who utilize specialized accessibility software packages, audiotapes, Braille, etc. and those who do not, will be considered.
Wish: all questions relating to Goal #4 of our survey.
To identify potential new directions and possible changes to current services and resources.
Dan: an analysis of the ‘comments’ sections of the survey (all CNAC members will also provide a quick analysis of the comments from their assigned sections).
5. Article
Dan sent a draft of the article to Jane and Michele for reviewing.
6. Deadlines
CNAC will commit to having some survey report analysis complete and posted on a webpage for our deadline of June 30 th. It will most likely not be the complete report, but it will indicate to viewers to continue to watch the space for the final report.
Next Meeting: Thursday, June 17th, DP 512A
