DCS will have one of their technical people contact Chris Leowski of EPAS to sort out the finer points of whether the system can be mounted here. - We are still collecting information about what datasets are available on campus and who is paying for them. The data from the Non-Traditional Media Task Group has not yet been made available. - Carol Vogt reminded us that the rooms containing the existing codebooks will be reassigned in the near future and that if the Library wants the codebooks they will have to be taken on soon. 3. Additional Agenda none 4. Demonstrations Carol Vogt demonstrated the process a user goes through, from a data set, to setting up either SAS or SPSS programs, to the final output. Albert Kemp demonstrated the U of Guelph implementation of the EPAS software by searching and retrieving data from CANSIM. We were pleasantly surprised to find the catalogue online as well as the numeric data. Retrieval of data did not appear to be difficult. Copies of the EPAS CANSIM user's guide were distributed.
