1.   Terms of Reference
     The Terms of Reference were discussed and accepted with one
     minor change.  A copy is appended.

2.   Business Arising
     Carol Vogt reported on her discussions with Chris Leowski of
     EPAS:
     - The price quoted for the EPAS software is per platform,
     not a site license.  
     - It won't matter where the data is mounted.
     - EPAS encourages users to access CANSIM on their server via
     the Internet.  Our experience with access to services via
     Internet indicates this is not an acceptable option.

     Carol Vogt also reported that the Accounting Dept. is
     currently paying for Compustat, CRSP, and  Financial Post
     TSE-300 databases.

3.   Letter of Proposal
     A draft letter proposing that we purchase the EPAS software
     and subscribe to CANSIM was discussed.  The amended letter
     is appended.
