1.   Minutes of Previous Meeting
     The numbering of the last four items should be shifted
     upward by one.

2.   Business Arising
     The PMB data has been ordered.  Richard Pinnell informed us
     that he had some input to the licence agreement (but subject
     to the approval of the supplier).

3.   Additional Agenda
     none

4.   Licence Agreement Terms for the 1991 Census
     The sample warning message from last week was accepted after
     changing the initial word to "The".

     A copy of the copyright notice from the opening screens of
     the 1991 Census CD-ROM were distributed.

5.   CANSIM/EPAS
     Orders are being placed Chris Leowski of EPAS may not be
     able to start working on it until sometime in May.

6.   Codebooks - access
     W. Oldfield described a project to convert existing MARC
     records for the codebooks into SGML and use PAT (from the
     OED project) to index them.  Albert Kemp will investigate
     the conversion process.

7.   Census and GSS data
     7.1  Inventory   Discussions are still underway to sort out
     the shortage of storage space for the Census and other data. 
      
     7.2  Description   Descriptions are still being collected.
     7.3  Acquisition    Nothing new
     7.4  Census Geographic Data    Nothing new

8.   User Interface
     The draft of the outline was noted briefly, we are still
     waiting to see a gopher mockup.
