4.   CANSIM/EPAS
     There has been no word from the EPAS people about what
     utilities are needed.  There is still no definite date for
     installation of the disc drives on "Library".  Doug Payne
     can find dsic space but it wuld be distributed acros several
     machines.  Given the above, it appears unlikely that the
     EPAS/CANSIM database will be operational in time for the
     summer students that would need it, and even September may
     be questionable.  Doug Morton will contact Chris Leowski
     about alternate access until the database can be mounted
     locally.

5.   Census and GSS data
     Data continues to come in.

6.   Access to DRC data
     Betty Graf examined the codebooks in LIB 222 and asked that
     they be reviewed for possible weeding before she continues.

7.   Gopher Interface
     The task of filling the EDS Gopher was distributed as:

     The topic for discussion will be " how do we envisage the
     service?", what equipment will be neeeded, levels of
     staffing, who will be staffing?
