Reno Update!
Library staff spent the last 2 weeks taking down shelves, clearing construction areas, stacking tables, carrels and chairs, packing up computers and moving thousands of books.
This week (May 17 to 21), the construction crew have removed carpet from the lower floor and will cut trenches for mobile shelving. On the main floor, hoarding (wooden barrier) goes up in the great hall and inside the Library to enclose the construction site. Demolition of the entrance/exit wall of the Library including Davis Copy begins this week.

Library staff have retrieved 985 books and filled 650 article requests since the Library closed.
Davis Librarians are helping students and faculty at the Porter Information Desk..
