In consultation with Jackie Stapleton, Liaison Librarian for Kinesiology, I have confirmed that the Library is currently supporting the courses that comprise the minor. It follows that we will be able to support the minor as presented in the proposal, as long as no new courses are added and the existing courses do not move into new areas of teaching and research.

This is the first “report” prepared following the 2010 introduction of the new Guidelines for Reviews of Ongoing and New Academic Programs. Because the minor includes no new courses, Geoff McBoyle indicated that the report that we typically prepare for new programs was not necessary and he suggested making it clear that we can support the minor as presented in the proposal.
