1. Minutes of the Previous Meeting
   Wish Leonard will make a few changes and send out the final version

2. Follow-up from April 4 Discussion about CD-ROMs
   
   • 2.1 Backup copies of CD-ROMs
     Systems should be able to burn a backup copy of a CD-ROM, however copyright clearance must be determined on a title by title basis.

     If no clear statement is present that permits copying then copies should not be made unless we obtain permission.

     ACTION: Linda will look at some of the CD-ROMs under consideration to determine if there is a clear "right to make a copy" on the label of the CD-ROM.

   • 2.2 Earphones
     Earphones should be hardwired to all Hollinger workstations in the public areas of the Library, including Davis and Porter.

3. Review Systems/ISR Relationship Document
   ISR Meeting: Doug explained that between now and the next scheduled ISR meeting members of ISR will receive a copy of the "Relationship" document.

   The Committee continued to work on a draft of the "Report on Improving Relationship….". Susan Routliffe will incorporate suggestions and additions and send out the final version to the Committee next week for final review.

   The report will be sent to members of ISR and Systems. Each department will engage in discussions regarding the report. An extraordinary meeting of ISR will be called for Friday, April 28^th. The report will be the only agenda item.

   April 18, 2000 in Davis Library Conference Room
