  2. Business Arising from the Minutes
Anne was going to find out regarding Gobi and how other University Libraries deal with Gobi. It seems that UW deals with Gobi differently. Order of books/e-books is up by 15% this past year, but we have the same amount of staff doing the ordering.

  3. Additional Agenda
    Collections – Springer e-books

  4. Screencasting – Laura & Tim
Tim updated us on Screencasting video. He demonstrated how to find the videos on the UW YouTube.

  5. SharePoint as a file archives – Jonathan
Jonathan generally does not use SharePoint for archives. Discussion on pros & cons of using SharePoint for archives. Current month budget files will be saved on SharePoint for now as an interim solution while other discussions around archiving take place. Jonathan discussed this topic with Martha, at present there are no space restrictions on SharePoint.
    Action: Leave on SharePoint (Jonathan)
Doug will take this question to WebOps

  6. Hallway Mirrors
2 mirrors are considered for the ISR Hallway – Facilities is getting quotes.

  7. Collections – Springer e-books – Jennifer
We received a Springer e-books offer for $79,000.00 US for the whole Springer package. Springer is working with smaller publishers to add their materials to this package. Jennifer queried selectors if they feel this Springer package is worth the money. There was a discussion on the pros and cons. The consensus is "Yes" it is worth the money.
It may be a good time to reconsider Davis Reference standing orders to see if we can cancel these to free up money for future, higher priority purchases.
