4) Training New Staff Members - Update
Dana Porter will be getting a co-op student from Western in May for eight months. Martha will ask Jennifer whether Davis is getting one too. We will start working on the training schedule in April.

5) Spotlights
Circulation - approximately 20 attended, only Davis people filled out evaluations. Of the 6 received, all said it was what they had hoped for, 5 said it was very helpful, and 1 said it was helpful. There were many enthusiastic comments about the format.
Social Theory - 12 attended, 10 filled out evaluations. All said it was what they hoped for, and all found it very helpful. There was a brief discussion surrounding Tim's use of video/Camtasia. The Flex Lab has Camtasia on its tablets.
EDS - Judy confirmed with Sandra for March 20 at Porter. The session will focus on the physical resources in the EDS room.
Theatre in Video - Nancy offered to do a session. This would probably be after or during the retreat.
Graphics - we will book this later.
6) EI Institute - Searching Web 2.0
We are registered for this session, April 9 at 1 pm. Kathy will put this up on the website, and notify people about two weeks beforehand. Martha will help Kathy with the set-up.
7) Web 2.0 update
There is now a project plan in SharePoint, under Porter > Staff Folders > Web 2.0 Training Project. Annie wants to move this over to the Training Committee folder on the Dashboard. Carol demonstrated where this is.
It was decided that we will consider the project successful for every person that completes two or more of the modules. Alison has put together a WordPress site, and will mail the link out when there's more in it. She is planning to use Camtasia for some modules.
There will be a kick-off spotlight on March 27, possibly followed by a coffee break.
8) ISR Training Retreat, 2009.
We can broach the topic of desk coverage once we have a date.
