1) ISR Retreat 2010 – May 6th, 2010

a) Videotaping Retreat sessions – discussion with Tim

Two options are available:

We need to think about what we want for our final project. Whether we pick i. or ii. We should record the entire session then edit it. Plus use Audacity for sound.

Copyrighted material – if presentation includes such content, then hosting on the library server becomes problematic; currently no space on library server.

Kristen could be available for technical assistance on May 6 and for post production work.

Action#1: Kathy to ask Allan Bell/Systems if there is a place to host video internally.

Action#2: Kathy to ask Systems to install Camtasia 6 in DC conference room, plus Flexlab.

Depending on Alan Bell’s answer, confirm with panelists/presenters that they are OK with screen-,voice- and video capture of their presentations. Also talk to Alan Kirker about borrowing mike and getting operator for videotaping. Down the road, we could show Sheril Hook what we have and ask if she wants it on youtube.

b) Lunch – Judy and Connie met to discuss the lunch for May 6th. Everything is under control

c) Session – update. Jackie is the contact person for the following people who will discuss their ways of staying organized: Annette Dandyk; Nancy Collins, Alex McCulloch, Jonathan Sutherland

d) Paper flyer – the flyers are printed and ready to be sent. Carol will send them out. The e-mail invitations have already been sent.

e) Evaluation – Carol will look after the individual customized evaluation forms.

a) Business Information Resources – May 14th Carol – is all set up, and ready

c) SciFinder – Kathy Szigeti – end of May? June? – Planning is in the works – Kathy M. will set up time and details with Kathy S.

6) Web 2.0 series (Part 2)

Laura supervising Rishan and Christen

a) Zsuzsanna – Laura changing alias – creating new list of members who are able to respond to questions by modules. Zsuzsanna will be the connector with Web 2.0

7) Training New Staff members

Carol is in the process of drawing up schedules for both Christina Zoricic and Rebecca Hutchinson.

8) Can you find it Challenge – Martha will upload GIS questions to Blog after the Retreat.
