a) Update – Zsuzsanna

Laura will work on the four modules during the summer. Nov/Dec will be a good time to deliver these modules.

Zsuzsanna will speak with Laura to check on the progress of the project in mid-fall.

7) Training New Staff Members (Carol)

a) Both Christina Zoricic and Rebecca Hutchinson are pretty much finished their training. They are waiting for 1 rescheduling. An evaluation form has been sent to both.

b) Training Schedule – length of training; prioritizing sessions; identifying essential/optional sessions.

LAUW has expressed an interest in having the Librarians Employment Handbook included as part of the training program for new librarians. The Committee felt that the LEH is the responsibility of a supervisor, but it could be handbook listed as a reminder to supervisors of need to cover it. LAUW can make its own contact with new librarians, and there would be no need to have an entry in the training program.
