1) Approval of minutes Date

The minutes of October 14, 2010 were approved.

2) Additional agenda

None.

3) Business arising

Wrap up for “Can You Find it”.

Action: Kathy will deal with wrapping this segment up, and giving the winners their prizes.

The questions will be retained for future reference.

4) Terms of Reference

More discussion on wording of the Terms of Reference. Once the Terms of Reference have been approved, the Committee will look at how to implement the roles and responsibilities.

5) Staff Survey

Judy gave us an update on the staff survey which she distributed. The results have been revised, based on 17 responses.

6) Spotlights / Training Sessions

a) Standards/Codes – Zsuzsanna – Doug is prepared to do a spotlight near the end of November.

Action: Zsuzsanna will schedule Doug’s spotlight for November 26th, 9:30 a.m. in Davis

b) Government Publications & Statistics – Kathy – Agnes and Sandra would prefer to do it in early winter.

c) Citation Tracking Spotlight – Kathy can do it any time this fall or winter 2011

d) Web 2.0 – Zsuzsanna – Laura could do it November 12

Action: Zsuzsanna will send out an e-mail announcing Module 1 & 2.

 7) Training new Staff Members

This will be worked on in November. Colin (the new Cataloguing Co-op student) is to work on the Porter Information Desk.

Action: Everyone should take a look at the scheduling list to see what could be done to streamline it.

Action: Carol will review the website and out of date pages.
