    Accepted with minor corrections.

  2. Business Arising
    6. Chris Gray is looking into the TRELLIS keyword or "phrases" search option created by Nick Dobbing, Guelph.

  3. Agenda Review
    Add two items: Database Pages and Contribute

  4. Usability Observations
    Christy gave a detailed results report of the usability testing conducted by her and Marian in the Davis and Porter libraries. Based on her report, and after considerable discussion, we decided to implement the following changes:
    • Bill will remove links to E-Resources as a combined search from the database pages because users were finding this confusing. ACTION: Bill
    • the subnavigation item "E-Journals" under "Resources" will be changed to "E-Journal Titles." ACTION: Esther
    • Dan will review the initial text for the Journal Articles, etc. and E-Journals pages. ACTION: Dan
    • the TRELLIS search box will again be placed at the top of the centre column on the home page. ACTION: Esther
    • remove the TRELLIS search from the top dropdown area. ACTION: Esther
    • use Jesse's new css for the right navigation area to make it look more like links. ACTION: Esther & John
    • add RACER to Site Index. ACTION: Esther

  5. Other Usability Reports
    Nothing to report.

  6. Database Pages
    Re: Site Index & Search Page: In addition to the site search, Bill has also added searches for E-Reference; Journal Indexes, etc; and E-Journals. The results page currently uses Jesse's UW page. Bill will see if he can configure the page to display within our library template.
    John brought to our attention that the database pages do not display properly in Opera (subject categories are missing). Bill will look into this, but does not guarantee that this can be resolved. ACTIONS: Bill

  7. Final Revision of Web Site
    Marina, Bill, and Esther will meet to plan the implementation for conversion of the web site. WebOps will need to review technical considerations.

    We're not quite ready to declare the revision as final. We still need to analyze the results of our current survey and e-mail reference questions. Kevin (Porter ISR Co-op) will be doing this soon.

  8. Contribute
