Item 6: It was noted that a number of the Library Guide pages were deleted and some are in the process of being updated.

Quick Polls
Chris demonstrated the Quick poll Management System he developed. The group provided feedback and requested that Chris mock-up two displays with the Quick Poll appearing on the left naviation menu and on the right navigation menu.
- New Homepage
Bill demonstrated Google Analytics. WebOps will explore this tool further as their preliminary assessment indicates it will be a valuable means for gathering data to explain how our web site is used.
ACTION: Bill will send the account information to the group.
- Website Statistics Project
WebOps is planning on putting a call out to web maintainers for any statistical needs individuals or groups have relating to specific library web pages.
- UWSpace & the Library
Helena and Bill have created potential categories for a library-produced section on UWSpace. Examples include annual reports, conference presentations, information literacy collections, news @ your library and OCGS collections.
- IE7 Fix
Chris Gray has written a program that will track down a particular string in the coding of our web pages that is causing problems with printing in IE7. WebOps has implemented a freeze on all web editing until tomorrow afternoon. Charles Woods will first burn a backup copy of the web site.
- Website Evaluation Criteria
Helena has a list covering criteria for evaluating web site design.
ACTION: Christy will post the criteria list to the LibWebReview site.
- CCAE Contest
The results of the CCAE web contest were discussed. The feedback received was quite positive even though we did not win. Areas where we can improve were on visual impact.
ACTION: Rachel will compose a message describing the feedback we received from the contest for Bill to send to all web maintainers.
- Around the Table
Christy volunteered to compose a message for Bill to send to all staff describing the the new Scholar's Portal search on the homepage.
Rachel's contract has been extended until the end of June.
