3. Discussion re: Meeting with Jennifer and Helena (Sandra)
- Sandra discussed the short, medium, and long term goals. Major changes will be medium term goals set for September 2007. Long term goals are 3, 5, or 10 years in the future. Sandra says LINC should ‘dream big’ for the future.
- LINC is going to invite more members: 2 librarians from Davis, and another from Porter. Action: Sandra will put out a call for membership this week.
- For next meeting: Discuss library promotion. Rachel talked to Rose about contacting grad offices to see how many information packages are required.
- LINC will liaise with other committees and have an awareness of library instruction that is occurring around campus. Overlap of projects should be avoided. Members of LINC will be representatives of LINC in other committees on which they serve.
- The graphic designers for LINC are Marian and Esther for now.

4. Fall Term Plans for Library Instruction Sessions
- The schedule was distributed; it is like last year’s.
- Action: Sandra will send out a message with the schedule attached for sessions instructors to confirm their time and interests.
- LINC will provide information for the brochure and Tours & Workshops website.
- Future session plans include RSS feeds, blogs, and wikis (Sept. 2007)
- The number of students participating is not increasing, but not decreasing either. LINC could work with CNAC to create a user survey.
- Action: Sandra will take up this issue with CNAC and the Lib. Web Review after her break.
- Marian and Esther will finish the brochure by the end of May. The text of the brochure will be beefed-up by July.
- Registration is not needed for the LINC sessions for the Fall, but a system of registration might be re-introduced for Sept. 2007. LINC will look into how LT3 handles their online registration process with reminder notices.
