Present: Leanne Romane (chair), Marian Davies (recorder), Doris Nussbaumer, Janet Wason, Agnes Zientarska-Kayko
Absent: Nancy Collins, Laura Howell, Kathy Szigeti
Leeanne extended a warm welcome to Doris Nussbaumer. Doris is a co-op student from the University of Western, Faculty of Information and Media Studies, working in the Witer Learning Resouce Centre. Doris replaces Peter Stirling, who is on paternity leave.
1. Approval of December 2, 2009 Minutes
Minutes approved.
2. Business Arising
- Leeanne spoke with Tim regarding a basic refresher of the Flexlab equipment and policies. Tim suggested that he conduct the refresher in small groups. If more than the basics need to be covered we would need to contact Mark Morton.
- Leeanne met with Annie and Jennifer to discuss editing of the current Library Guides. It was apparent that this is a bigger question than who should edit them. The bigger question of dealing with the Guides has been left with Jennifer and Annie.
- Jennifer and Annie are also re-evaluating the webpage responsibilities that currently sit with LINC, to see if other relevant groups/people should be responsible for some of the non-instruction based pages.

4. Updates/Reports
- Doris has experience with computer training and helping people re-enter the workforce.
- Evaluation Forms and their distribution
Evaluation forms should be distributed by assistants for the session. A stockpile of forms is housed in the publication unit in the ISR and Circulation shared area.
ACTION: Janet will stock this supply.
ACTION: Leeanne will provide a link to the form in the registration system.
- Winter Instruction Schedule
Leeanne has updated the schedule, completing instructor and assistant information.
- Inclusion of non-LINC sponsored sessions in LINC promotional items
Discussion ensued.
ACTION: Leeanne will discuss this topic further with Jennifer Haas. If the session does not fall within our Terms of Reference, then the session should not be promoted as a LINC session.
5. Around the Table
Leeanne reported on arranging a session for English graduate students to learn more about Special Collections.
Agnes reported that she is presenting several Environment and Resource Studies (ERS) instruction sessions this term.
