1. Reno Update
Annie and Adam provided an update to Managers on the renovation, including an overview of the latest master plan provided by WALTERFEDY. Updates will be communicated to Library staff by email, which will include an amalgamation of blog posts.

There was a reminder of the Open Office Feedback session being held on February 9th, and Adam informed Managers that there will be an upcoming session on Privacy. If Managers receive any feedback or questions from their staff, they are asked to forward those along to Adam or Pree.

Nick and Melanie discussed Records Management, and are working on a plan for a clean-up prior to the renovation.

2. Recognition and Commendation
February anniversaries were acknowledged:

February 17 – Lesley Wade, Collection Development, 25 Years
February 22 – Carol Steele, Porter ISR, 35 Years
February 28 – Ingrid Pinos, Cataloguing, 45 Years

3. Business Arising from January 18th
Workplace Violence Survey:
A reminder was given to Managers that the Workplace Violence Survey is due February 27, 2017. If there are any risks identified that need to be managed, Managers were asked to bring those to Sharon.

Library 60th Anniversary website: Deferred

4. Recruitment
Sharon provided an update on the following Recruits in Process:
Instructional Design Librarian: interviews have taken place
Copyright & Licensing Librarian: interviews are taking place later this month
Acquisitions Associate: at the internal stage
Head, Metadata & Cataloguing Services: has moved to the external stage

Temporary positions: The Library Systems Administrator and Engineering & Entrepreneurship Liaison Librarian positions have both moved to the external stage.

Best Practices Project Plan: Deferred.

5. Training and Professional Development
The process of requesting funding for Training and Professional Development was clarified for efficiency and consistency. A message will be sent out to Library staff, advising that LibExec will be reviewing requests on March 21st for the 2017/2018 fiscal year, and therefore all requests must be in to Melanie by March 16th.

6. Disability Management
Sharon provided an update on Disability Management, advising Managers that the program brings Occupational Health and HR together in a different kind of way. Going forward, we will work with our HR Partner, Rochelle Davies, for any concerns about sick leave.

Pharmacy is re-organizing their basement space and their Pharmacy Resource Centre will be moving to the space next to the current facility.

Pharmacy is planning to hire a one-year contact who will be located in the facility and his/her responsibilities will include circulation services for the print collection.

Alex attended the inaugural meeting of the Campus Wellness Coordinating Forum. The idea of the forum is to share information and coordinate the promotion of student wellness across campus. Participants shared what activities were already being done, in order to identify gaps and opportunities for cross training. If Managers, or anyone in their departments, are interested in being part of the forum (which will meet approximately every two months) please contact Katherine MacLean
