Criteria for evaluation:

- Accuracy/Objectivity
- Currency
- Organization/Ease of use
- Uniqueness

Preference will be given to sites that in addition to meeting the above criteria:
- Are organized logically
- Have clear navigational tools
- Have clear labels
- Allow simultaneous searching across multiple resources
- Are comprehensive within their scope
- Have well organized entries or search results
- Follow accessibility standards
Selection Aids:
Group work:
- The group will organize the collection process by dividing areas of responsibility according to subject expertise and inclination.
- A template may be devised to record the information to be captured about each new resource to be added, when communicating with the technical support person (Rose Koebel). This should include the category, name of the resource, the URL, a brief description, restricted resource status (RR) if appropriate, and assigned subjects if appropriate.
- Responsibilities for the maintenance activity include:
- maintaining links
- communicating changes to other members of the reference team, ISR, and Information Desk group
