I drove round the ring road expecting a sign
While I didn't have any difficulties I was surprised that neither tour of the two campus tours I've been on brought students into the library.
No, after I was told it was quite easy to find
Too many buildings, I'm confused
No signage to direct you around construction
Entrance was hard to find
I had no difficulties, it was just my first time here
No, there was construction, I wouldn't walk through
I didn't have any difficulties because the map and my mom basically helped me
I didn't understand how to follow the directions of the call number
Parking- not sure where to park.. my car ended up in lot C

    Followed everyone else (2)
Followed the others, and assumed it would be on computer like the public library
    Signs near elevator
    Sign at info desk
    Front door sign
By looking at the map next to the information desk
    Online- TRELLIS
Looked at the directory beside the elevator; it indicated that the catalogue was on the public workstations on the 2nd floor
I didn't realize that the only catalogue is on the computer
I found it hard because it was not as visible as I thought, it was on the computer
I heard somebody else asking at the desk
Read sticker on computers behind info desk
We asked the info desk- need more signs
By asking staff at information desk
We asked & were told that they're on the computers

    Did you have to ask?
    8 yes (25%)
    20 no (63%)

      Yes  30   (94%)
      No 1
      No response 1

If yes, where were the signs located?
In front of the elevator (25)
I looked in the computer and typed in the call #
Front door, where hours of operation are; got confused with reference collection on main floor
"To get you started"-front entrance; then looked at the floor plans on the elevator
when you get off the elevators; sign tells you what floor to go to
Well, we had to ask in order to find out what floor our books were on. Then I just wandered through the shelves looking for the number. Signs were on the sides of shelves

    2. By asking for help?
      Yes  3 (9%)
      No  24 (75%)
      No response 5

If yes, where did you ask?

I was looking in the wrong place and I got a little hint
But the info desk lady was explaining it to us
Info desk- I needed help to get to the signs

If you had any difficulties, please explain
We typed in the call #, and we couldn't find it on trellis
I didn't find the sign until the 9th floor because I took the stairs
No difficulty in reaching floor once I knew where to go.
Wasn't sure on how to figure out which floor. By chance happened to see sign by elevator- fairly intuitive
Just going to the wrong floor because I scanned the sign
      Call # didn't show up
The sign by the elevator contained some very relevant information. Is there any place in the library where it appears more prominent?
I had none, it was just that I remained on the 1st floor and didn't look at the signs near the elevators
      No, it was clear
The info desk lady pointed us to the sign by the elevator which was very helpful
      None - under 5 min.

  3. How did you locate your book on the floor?
    I saw the elevator sign
Sign posted on the end of book shelf (15)
Wandered around aimlessly. Still don't understand how alphabetical order is organized on each floor. Used signs to scan - signs kinda small
    Walking around (3)
Looked for the appropriate letter and shelf
    By signs (2)
    By The No.??
Looked for the "N" then "NC" then the number "256" and the last part "F5G4"
I wandered around looking for a match on the first two letters
When I got out of the elevator I looked at the map across the doors then found my books by locating the section on the signs at the end of each isle.
I found it easy to locate
Walked around until I found the bookshelf with the sign ....
But the arrangement of the shelves was kind of confusing, maybe some bigger signs to point a direction
Looked at the floor layout map
By asking a lady at the information desk on floor 2 - she was very helpful. First I looked on floor 6 but I couldn't find it so I went to Floor 2 for help.
It was difficult because D-DA, and DK were on one side of the elevator while DF -DC were on the other

On the main floor at the computers or the front desk (self signout desk) counters?

If you had any difficulties, please explain
The signs need to be clearer in terms of floors and call numbers
The signs need to be bigger, with basic definitions
The signs need to have basic english identification
I just needed to be pointed in the right direction. I was fine after that.
I know that books may be reserved and renewed online but I was unaware of any other options besides the self-checkout & circulation for signing out books
