July/August 2007 :
- installation of 200+ new PCs for staff and public continue
- negotiations almost complete for new products VERDE (a Library ERM system) and Primo (information discovery software)
- preparing with IST for a Voyager upgrade in December
- planning for IST move of TRELLIS servers into a separate subnet.
- deploying Google Analytics across Library servers for Web Analytics
- reviewing Library WebSite design
Fall 2007
- Project Primo started
- Verde ERM system acquired and tested
- Voyager upgraded to 6.5.4: IST sets up separate server
Winter/Spring 2008
- VMWare testing continues
- Verde ERM system implemented
- replacement Voyager servers costed and acquired
- Tivoli backup solution:
- product acquired
- testing and training continues
- joint development of a TUG Cognos 8 server at Guelph continues
Summer 2008
- Voyager patch upgrade August 6
- 1st of production Voyager servers replaced
- Primo tested and reconfigured
- Ares Course reserve system acquired
- ADS / Workstation implementation nearing completion
- Porter 1st-floor renovations continue
Fall 2008
- Primo to be put into production in September
- 2nd Voyager server to be replaced mid-September
