"Voyager-l" listserv: Subscribing, Unsubscribing, Posting


The "Voyager-l" listserv for Voyager users is hosted by Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. The list provides a forum for sharing tips, comments and questions about the Voyager system. The list is provided for the use of Endeavor customers. Although it is not moderated and Endeavor does not control the content of the list, it is monitored by Endeavor staff members who will contribute to the list on occasion.

Managers of UW library units using a TRELLIS staff module and TRELLIS prototypers and functional group members are especially encouraged to subscribe.

Subscribing to Voyager-l
1. Send a message to majordomo@voyager.ship.edu
2. Leave the Cc: and Subject: lines blank.
3. In the body of the message type:
subscribe voyager-l [your e-mail address]
4. Ensure that no other text appears in the message (e.g. delete your signature)
5. Send the message.

Unsubscribing from Voyager-l
1. Send a message to majordomo@voyager.ship.edu
2. Leave the Cc: and Subject: lines blank.
3. In the body of the message type:
unsubscribe voyager-l [your e-mail address]
4. Ensure that no other text appears in the message (e.g. delete your signature)
5. Send the message.

Posting messages to Voyager-l
1. Send an e-mail to: voyager-l@voyager.ship.edu
2. In the "Subject:" line, give a short description of your posting.
3. In the body section of your e-mail, give a clear and concise statement of your question, problem, solution, etc. Remember that everyone on the list will see your message. If you are replying off-list to another poster, be sure to reply to that person only.
4. Send the message.
