Chat in MSN IM
- Do not open attached files. Windows Messenger, available on your office computers, presents less security problems than MSN messenger. It does not allow attached files, and the programme installation function on your office computer is disabled. Be alert if you chat at home, or if you use MSN messenger.
- Do not click on any link in chat transactions, unless you have requested it. This will prevent the infection of virus delivered through IM.
- Use a secondary email address if possible, e.g.,
; (You can abandon the account in case of spam email problem.)
- Use the antispam javascript to mask an email address in the html codes. You may notify
to enter this script to place IM contact information on your web pages.
