Meeting Notes

November 7, 2005 9:30 am

Present: Ksenia Bronicki, Annette Dandyk, Nancy Heimpel, Ruth Lamb, Connie Pantic, Gail Sperling, Jason Tran, Baiba Turner

1) Review of Meeting Notes of June 13, 2005

The meeting notes were accepted without amendments.

2) Business Arising

4. Jason Tran will be replacing Daspina Fefekos as the representative for Architecture.

7. Baiba reported that the TUG Cognos Training team will be asking TUG Statistics and Reports Management group to review the membership of the training team.

- The team is also canvassing staff who have received training to understand how they are using the Cognos reports environment.

- Baiba will be conducting sessions for UW selectors.

3) Architecture data entry in R: drive

Jason will send Architecture statistics in spreadsheet format to Ksenia to enter on the R: drive. Gail will work with Jason to ensure he has spreadsheets that use the same format.

4) Review of 2004/05 spreadsheets (ARL and CARL)

The CARL and ARL 2004/05 spreadsheets were reviewed and the following action is needed.

- Ruth will coordinate the numbers for preservation statistics with Susan bellingham

- Baiba will work on gathering statistics for the ARL supplementary statistics

- Gail will contact Ann Naese for binding statistics

- Gail will contact Charles Woods and Chris Gray for ARL supplementary statistics

- Gail will work with Linda Teather to ensure that Susan Routliffe reviews the emerging services section and the expenditures areas

5) Next Meeting

Unless enough issues arise to warrant holding a meeting in the winter term no meeting will be scheduled until the spring term. The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for Monday, June 5, 2006 at 9:30 am.
