Terms of Reference

Objectives & Scope
The purpose of this group is to be a forum for those in functional areas with responsibility for the support of statistics and report generation. The group will be a resource for managers in the development and preparation of statistics and reports. The group will meet at least once a term and as needed to:

Document the statistics and reports maintained in each Library department, with the purpose for which they are maintained, source, method of generation & maintenance
Discuss and review new developments and share information
Identify training needs
Support the preparation of data for external reports (e.g. Maclean's, CARL, ARL, UW insurance report)
Participate in the coordination of special projects when required
Liaise with TUG counterparts and UW-affiliated libraries as appropriate

If required, the coordination and setting of priorities will be the responsibility of the Library Managers Group.
