It is good practice to include the email of a contact person in every Web page (see UW Library Standards and Practices http://www.lib.uwaterloo.ca/staff/standards/index.html#contact), but then these addresses can be collected automatically and used in bulk emailings.

There is now a method available for including email addresses in library Web pages that makes it harder for these addresses to be found by search software. Instructions for how to do this are now available at http://www.lib.uwaterloo.ca/staff/webops/antispam.html.
