    Doug reported on behalf of Annie.
    A committee or working group will be created to look at criteria and/or principles to apply when deciding which vendor/provider/database will be included or not included. In addition the group will make design recommendations based on research such as card sorting exercises and usability studies. The project will begin once LibGuides and YBP are finalized.
    ACTION: Annie will distribute the project outline.

  3. Agenda Review
    Item #4 discussion (LibGuides and Direct Links) will be led by Kathy Szigeti instead of Annie Bélanger.
    Item #5 discussion (Preparing for the Redesign) will be led by Jonathan Sutherland instead of Annie Bélanger.

  4. LibGuides and Direct Links
    Kathy discussed concerns about certain links timing out and the ability to link to specific journal articles within e-journals and specific chapters within e-books. The challenge is that there are different processes based on the platform where the material resides. Likewise there are some session keys that present added challenges. A specific example raised was the Merick index. Specific examples are to be sent to Adrian. The table from Bill was discussed and concerns about who will be updating the table. Allan mentioned that we want to minimize points of maintenance and suggested using direct links whenever possible. There is also a project to integrate the Electronic reference shelf into Primo.
    ACTION: Esther will upload instructions for authors in LibGuides.

  5. Preparing for the Redesign
    Jonathan outlined a project for the Davis ISR co-op student. The student is going to be looking into Google Analytics training with the aim of investigating ISR web pages. There were some concerns with knowledge transfer after the project has ended.

  6. Around the table
    Jonathan asked about personal php space on the library server. Allan indicated that this is possible.
    Allan mentioned White Whale will be coming out with website rules shortly and to monitor web.uwaterloo.ca for developments.
